Babyface – July 1 – Silver Creek

Babyface is a 12-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist, songwriter, producer, and one of the most celebrated creative forces in music history.  He is the only producer to win the Producer of the Year category four times, three times of which were in consecutive years (1995-1997); a record he holds to this day.  Kenny is also co-founder of the legendary record label LaFace, which launched the careers of artists like Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC, Outkast, and Pink.

From humble beginnings in Indianapolis, Babyface developed his love for music early on when he began songwriting at the age of 12.  Upon graduating high school, he was signed to his first record deal after joining the band, Manchild.  In the 1980s, he broke into the music world as guitarist and songwriter for the R&B band, The Deele, where he met future LaFace co-founder LA Reid.

Over the past five decades, he released three consecutive multi-platinum albums: Tender Lover (1989), featuring the #1 “Tender Lover”; For the Cool in You (1993), which included “Never Keeping Secrets” and “When Can I See You”; and The Day (1996) featuring “Every Time I Close My Eyes.”

In 2014, he collaborated with Toni Braxton and released the Grammy Award-winning album Love, Marriage & Divorce.

Girl Named Tom – July 28 – Ribbon Town

Three siblings unlock one harmony to unite the world as Girl Named Tom.  The trio—Bekah, Joshua, and Caleb Liechty—notably made history as “the only group to ever win NBC’s The Voice.”  Along the way, they’ve impressively generated millions of streams across chart-rattling covers such as “River,” “The Chain,” and “Dust in the Wind.”

Melissa Etheridge – July 29 – Silver Creek

Melissa Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. For several years, her popularity grew around such memorable originals as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy,” for which she won a Grammy® in 1992. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am (1993). The collection featured the massive hits, “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought Etheridge her second Grammy® Award for Best Female Rock Performance. In 1995, Etheridge issued her highest charting album, Your Little Secret, which was distinguished by the hit single, “I Want to Come Over.” Her astounding success that year led to Etheridge receiving the Songwriter of the Year honor at the ASCAP Pop Awards in 1996. Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades. Since her notable rise to fame, Melissa has continued to release several critically acclaimed recordings including, This Is M.E., Memphis Rock & Soul, and The Medicine Show. On September 17, 2021, Melissa released her most recent studio project, titled One Way Out. Happy Together – August 11 – Silver Creek

2023 will mark the 14th year of the highly successful, hit-filled summer package, The “Happy Together” Tour.  The touring sensation that has crisscrossed the nation delighting audiences for over a decade returns this summer with a show full of chart-topping hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s – an undeniable 61 Billboard Top 40 smashes.  The Tour is once again joined by The Turtles, who also act as musical hosts for the evening.  Along with The Turtles will be Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Vogues, and The Classics IV.

The Turtles are best known for their harmony-heavy California pop sound.  With such hits as “Elenore,” “She’d Rather Be With Me,” “It Ain’t Me Babe,” “You Showed Me,” and the title of the tour, “Happy Together,” the band ruled the airwaves in the late ‘60s.  Ron Dante joins the line-up to delight with his own mega-hits, “Sugar” and “Tracy.”

The Beach Boys – August 18 – Silver Creek

The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received more than 33 RIAA Platinum and Gold record awards. The Rock And Roll Hall of Famers were also honored at the 2001 Grammy Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than five decades of touring under their belts, The Beach Boys have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history.

The Beach Boys recently released Sail On Sailor — 1972 — a new expansive box set that celebrates and dives deep into their transformative and fruitful 1972 era which bore the albums Carl and the Passions — “So Tough ” and Holland. Staind – September 8 – Silver Creek

Brian Culbertson – September 22 – Silver Creek

Over the course of crafting a 25-album catalog and architecting nearly 40 Billboard No. 1 singles as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music.  Label him jazz and he makes a funk record.  Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection.  Brand him pop and he creates a 32-minute New Age opus.  And you’d be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for three consecutive months.

Blanco Brown – September 30 – Ribbon Town

Ashanti & Ginuwine – October 14 – Silver Creek

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, actor and author Ashanti burst onto the music scene with her smash hit, self-titled debut album, Ashanti.  It landed the #1 spot on both the Billboard Top 200 and R&B album charts, selling a whopping 504,593 units in its first week.  This set a SoundScan record as the most albums sold by any debut female artist in the chart’s history and granted her a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. As the founder, lead singer and songwriter of the metal rock band RATT, Stephen Pearcy is credited with having been a pioneer of the early 80’s Sunset Strip rock scene after leading his creation to mega multi-platinum success year after year from 1984 to 1991 and capturing critical acclaim for his performances, style and uniquely salacious vocals.  Pearcy formed RATT in Los Angeles in 1982 from his previous band Mickey RATT.  Known for their overtly sexual appearance, rebellious attitude and take no prisoners approach to metal, Atlantic Records recognized RATT’s potential and star power by signing the band to a contract resulting in the 1984 album “Out of the Cellar,” which became one of many multi-platinum successes.  RATT climbed up the charts with singles from “Out of the Cellar,” soaring past Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy,” Van Halen’s “Panama,” Madonna’s “Borderline,” and David Bowies “Blue Jean.”  Throughout RATT’s nearly four decades of success with Pearcy at its helm, they released 8 albums and played thousands of shows worldwide all the while selling over 20 million records.   More information on Stephen Pearcy can be found at www.officalstephenpearcy.com and www.facebook.com/sepearcy.
