Egg Drop Soup

Warm up from the tips of your lips to the bottom of your toes with Egg Drop Soup! Six simple ingredients come together to make a tantalizingly delicious soup. Pair it with garlic bread as a main entrée or enjoy as an appetizer before beef & broccoli.
Ingredients
4 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
½ Teaspoon Salt
¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper
½ Teaspoon Granulated Garlic
3 Scallions/Green Onions, Sliced
2 Eggs
Procedure
- Mix 3 ½ cups of chicken stock, garlic, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Stir cornstarch into the remaining half-cup of chicken stock and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk two eggs and set aside.
- When seasoned stock comes to a boil, add in cornstarch mixture, and stir. Add sliced green onions.
- Bring the broth back to boil. Once rolling, stir the broth in one direction. While stirring, slowly pour in eggs, to achieve ribbons of egg in the soup. Eggs will cook as soon as they hit the broth.
- Top with extra sliced green onions, if desired.
