More than 1,300 pounds of ingredients were used to create the displays

NEW BUFFALO, Mich. and SOUTH BEND, Ind. – December 18, 2024 – The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds® Casinos are pleased to unveil gingerbread villages at Four Winds New Buffalo and Four Winds South Bend.  In total more than 1,350 pounds of ingredients were split between two displays including 900 pounds of gingerbread, 400 pounds of royal icing, 20 pounds of fondant, and 30 pounds of chocolate.  Both gingerbread villages also feature an assortment of candies including candy canes, mints, jellies, and M&M’s.

Commenting on the construction of the gingerbread villages, Craig Lewkowitz, Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage for Four Winds Casinos said, “This year, we decided to allow our creative team to explore their artistic ideas without a specific theme.  This approach aimed to encourage creativity and produce a diverse range of designs that would appeal to all ages.  We really hope our guests enjoy the villages and appreciate the hard work that went into creating these festive holiday displays.”
