That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid 80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.
The ground started shaking in Sacramento, Calif., in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song.” Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from Tesla include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!”
TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.
Gin Blossoms formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona by guitarist Jesse Valenzuela and bassist Bill Leen, and developed further with the addition of drummer Phillip Rhoades, vocalist and guitarist Robin Wilson, and guitarist Doug Hopkins. The Gin Blossom band member bench is quite impressive as four of the five are songwriters who all create a unique musical experience. In 1989 the band debuted their first album, Dusted and became known for its high-energy, loose, and informal shows full of lively stage banter and audience interaction.
In 1990, the group signed a contract with A&M Records where they cut a five-song album and then ten months later the New Miserable Experience (NME) twelve-song album was released. Then a year later, the third single, Hey Jealousy was released and took off, increasing band awareness, and re-establishing NME which went on to earn Platinum status selling more than four million copies. As NME experienced a breakthrough, the band experienced profound change when guitarist, founding member and stellar songwriter Doug Hopkins was replaced with Scotty Johnson.
Three and a half years later, the band worked to stay afloat when Congratulations I’m Sorry showed up to prove that the Gin Blossoms had the ability to continue to turn out lyrically compelling songs. The band then delivered, Follow You Down as Congratulations went Platinum, reaching #10 on the U.S. album charts and As Long as it Matters, a third single from the album earned a Grammy nomination.
Due to a non-stop touring schedule, the band took a hiatus in 1997 and band members pursued outside projects. In 2017, Gin Blossoms celebrated the 25-year anniversary of the landmark NME and were inducted into the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. Gin Blossoms then worked on a new album with Don Dixon, producer of the Smithereens and R.E.M.’s veteran engineer, Mitch Easter. The two well-known individuals helped define a fresh style for Gin Blossoms to reconnect the band to its original foundation, creating Mixed Reality, which became a timeless label.

“In the history of music, few voices have been as great as that of Freddie Mercury. However, the Canadian singer Marc Martel seems to be his very reincarnation,” said Alejandra Orozco, Quarter Rock Press.
Long before his YouTube videos went viral, spawning an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and a performance with the surviving members of Queen on “American Idol,” Marc Martel spent 13 years recording and touring the globe with Canadian rockers Downhere. Not only did the rock band visit 49 American States, but also toured throughout Europe and even Northern Africa, collecting worldwide acclaim and four Juno Awards in their native land.
Martel is the ideal match for One Vision Of Queen, an explosive, attention-commanding tribute where some of the most iconic rock anthems of all time collide with a theatrical performance style and eye-popping production. At its core, the riveting show focuses on the extremely diverse body of the band’s greatest hits, from the grandiose “Bohemian Rhapsody” to the adrenaline-pumping “We Will Rock You,” the euphoric “We Are The Champions,” the funky “Another One Bites The Dust,” the stadium-shaking David Bowie collaboration “Under Pressure,” the soulful “Somebody To Love,” and the swinging “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” (to name but a few from the steroid-stacked set list).
In addition to the obligatory but nonetheless consistently astounding selections, One Vision Of Queen also incorporates an entirely unique angle that will have die-hards and casual appreciators alike clamoring to hear several other sides of Martel. You could call it a greatest hits show with a twist where I get to explore other things that I wish Freddie could have recorded himself and wonder what could have been.”

Tusk has been crisscrossing the country since 2008 as The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute. But of all the Fleetwood Mac tributes playing around the United States today, what exactly sets Tusk apart?
Is it more than five skilled professionals turned masters of their trade through decades of individual musical study, live performance, creative risk, and devotion to the art?
Is it more than their affection and respect for the Fleetwood Mac experience, an entity that continues to endure over 50 years of musical and cultural evolution?
Is it more than vocal similarities, common physical traits, or good costumes?
To be sure, one does not fare well in the tribute scene without displaying some or all of these characteristics. So what qualities does Tusk possess that can’t be learned, bought, or created simply from a desire to have them?
Chemistry. Synergy. Intuition.
The relationship among the five founding members of Tusk has a rich history that goes back more than four decades. Two met while playing Little League baseball. Two others met in middle school band and marched in lockstep through high school. All five have been playing music with one another over the years in various configurations of original bands, jam bands, singer-songwriter circles, and alternative rock groups. Time, trust, and close friendship have cultivated an intimate familiarity with each other’s musical nuances, shaping each performance with such precision that even the slightest variation, virtually imperceptible to all but the five musicians sharing the stage, is met with a wink and a nod, and usually an inside joke. Tusk is more than a band; they are a family.
Experience the wonder of a Tusk show for yourself.

For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000. Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with four full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level You Tube status and high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Larry King Now, and FOX NFL Sunday.
Rolling Stone avowed, “There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip,” while Metal Sucks declared, Steel Panther’s concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy – and relatable.”

Family has always been at the center of things for Los Lonely Boys. Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza have been playing and touring together since they were teenagers. Three years ago, they decided to take a break to focus on their own growing families. But Summer 2022 saw them back at it again, returning to life on the road alongside The Who. The Boys have been making music together for seventeen years now, and they show no signs of slowing down or losing inspiration. Today, you’ll find them in the studio, working on their newest album.
The story of how the Garza brothers rode their bluesy “Texican rock & roll” sound from San Angelo, Texas, to worldwide fame is one of rock’s great Cinderella tales. The three young brothers formed a band, got signed to a major label, and had a hit single that propelled them to stardom. They sold 2.5 million records, won a Grammy, and received five more Grammy nominations in the span of their career.
The sons of Enrique “Ringo” Garza Sr. are a second-generation sibling band; their dad and his brothers played conjunto as the Falcones before the elder Garza formed a band with his sons. They were still teens when he moved them to Nashville, hoping to hit career paydirt. But their big break came after they returned to Texas and began playing Austin clubs in the early 2000s. One day, Willie Nelson’s nephew heard some demos. Next thing they knew, Willie showed up at a gig. Then he showcased them at Farm Aid, fronted recording time at his famed Pedernales Studio, and guested on their album.
Released in 2003 on startup label Or Records, Los Lonely Boys got picked up by Epic and re-released. Propelled by the No. 1 single, “Heaven,” it wound up selling over 2 million copies, spending 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and earning them a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group.
Their dream-come-true rise was chronicled in the documentary Los Lonely Boys: Cottonfields and Crossroads, directed by fellow San Angelo native Hector Galán. Another dream came true for the Boys when Carlos Santana invited them to guest on his 2005 album, All That I Am. They also released Live at the Fillmore that year. Their father and Willie Nelson joined them on 2006’s Sacred, and in 2007, their cover of John Lennon’s “Whatever Gets You Through the Night” became the second single from the album Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur.
Their rise to stardom was certainly something to behold. But the story of how they’ve persevered in the face of subsequent challenges is just as compelling. In 2013, they canceled 43 shows and paused work on their last album, Revelation, after Henry was seriously hurt when he fell from a stage in Los Angeles. The scare caused all three brothers to re-examine not only how they make music, but how they conduct their lives.
“The whole experience was a wake-up call,” Jojo admits. “It reminded us of what’s really important.”
Once again, they affirmed that’s family. And music. For this trio, the two are inseparable.
The downtime of their hiatus served their hearts and their families well, but it also served to plant new seeds of creativity. “We grew as husbands and fathers during our time off. We wanted to be there for our families,” says Henry. Now in the studio working on their newest record, they are finding that inspiration comes from time at home as much as from time on the road. “Our new songs are about what is happening in everyone’s lives; topics of separation, the need for more love, and relating to one another.”
“Walking off the stage after our first performance this year, we cried together, hugged, and knew we would continue,” says Henry. “After a three-year hiatus, we are songwriting, recording, and touring together. It is a blessing to share the stage with my brothers. We lift each other musically and spiritually. We consider this Los Lonely Boys’ resurrection.”

The Turtles are best known for their harmony-heavy California pop sound. Ron Dante joins the line-up to delight with his own mega-hits, “Sugar,” and “Tracy.”
Few groups have reached the musical heights as Jay & The Americans with hits from 1962 to 1971. This group charted an amazing five Billboard Top 10 hits and 12 Top-20 hit records. Their breakout hit was “She Cried.” Their next chart hit was “Only In America,” which they followed with hit songs “Come A Little Bit Closer,” “Cara Mia,” and “This Magic Moment,” which hit the Billboard Top 10.

Their album, The Association’s Greatest Hits (Warner Brothers) is now double platinum and continues to be one of the longest best-selling albums in the history of the company. A few of their hits include “Cherish,” “Windy,” “Never My Love,” and “Along Comes Mary.”
From their legendary lineup, Joey Molland continues the unforgettable legacy of Badfinger. One of the original signings to the Beatles’ Apple Records label. They had their first hit single with a Paul McCartney penned song, “Come and Get It,” which went to #7 in the U.S. charts. Badfinger followed this with their own compositions “No Matter What,” “Day After Day (produced by George Harrison),” and “Baby Blue,” which went to #8, #4 and #14 respectively.
The Vogues are also known for their harmony-driven pop sound. The Vogues had numerous Top 10 hits with singles such as “Five O’Clock World,” “My Special Angel,” and “Turn Around Look At Me.”

His third special in three years was an uproarious one, hosting some of the edgiest comedians in the country from the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His last groundbreaking special on Netflix, The Degenerates, garnered more huge ratings and rave reviews.
Also an accomplished actor, Williams has appeared on numerous TV shows and feature films, including FX’s Legit, Sam and Cat, Mind of Mencia, Pitboss, a recurring role on the Hulu original show Deadbeat, and memorable roles in a plethora of movies, including Little Evil, produced by Scott Stuber (Ted), as well as the Netflix original Christopher Guest film, Mascots, and most recently Reno 911: It’s A Wonderful Heist.
