Scott and Amy Hicks are an acoustic duo from NW Indiana and have been performing in the music industry for many years. In 2023, they joined forces in both marriage and music to perform acoustic “Gen X” rock from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Their song list is ever growing and includes artists such as Natalie Merchant, Green Day, Peter Gabriel, U2, Radiohead, and Alanis Morissette. Scott and Amy enjoy performing all over the Region of NW Indiana, and can often also be found at several venues in SW Michigan and NE Illinois.

DJ H2 is one of Michiana’s most creative and inventive DJs. His high energy sound instantly transports you to your happy place. DJ H2 has entertained all across Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. With his special styles of mixing his career has let him entertain for dignitaries, politicians and artists from all walks of life. His music expertise covers all styles, but he specializes in dance music.

SmartyPants was the creative brainchild of Tara and Mark, who played together in an acoustic band and wanted something more energetic. 

Tata, who had played in the rock/dance band SpellBound for 12 years, had always wanted to do a musical project that featured all the current dance hits. So, a group was assembled that all agreed it would be the perfect genre of music for clubs that want their patrons to not just sit and watch a band, but rather dance.  SmartyPants was born. 

Pablo, our bass player, came to us from a hard rock background but quickly adapted his playing style to a funky back bear.  Will, our drummer, spent his college days in an original band and has sin e played in regional bands.  His blend of acoustic and electronic drums captures the spirit of R&B hits.  Tommy, our keyboardist, added that synth sound that is an integral part of dance music.  With Mark holding down the guitar parts and adding synthesized sound as well when needed, the result is a wall of funky sound.  It was a different set-up having two front line singers (a male and a female), but that was what made it unique. Tara has a bluesy style to her voice, but she can belt out an R&B showstopper as well.  Braxton rounded out the lineup in 2022 bringing his sultry and sexy vocals to the show.  

We like to think of our shows as an experience, not just another night out at the bars listening to throwback rock.  It’s all new, it’s all fun, and it’s all about the dancing! 

Chad Clifford is not new to the stage. You can find him performing currently with The Crawpuppies or giving a thrilling acoustic performance. Chad has perfected over 500 songs, so it will definitely be a night to remember filled with the greatest hits.

Frank Ruvoli is a Northwest Indiana native and has been performing live for over 10 years. Pamela Rocha has been playing piano, singing vocals, and loving music since the 1980’s when she was just a kid. She has competed in piano competitions at a young age and has played with various musical acts throughout northwest Indiana over the past 30 years. Pamela also composes music and has also taken part in different recording projects. Along with loving performing, Pamela also enjoys teaching piano and music theory. Music is a way to communicate with others on a deeper level and that is what Pamela enjoys most about what she gets to do!

A 1971 performance at New York’s Shea Stadium sold out faster than the Beatles. The group’s widespread appeal is also evident in its prestigious recording achievements. Over their career, Grand Funk has had 19 charted singles, 8 Top 40 hits and two Number One singles (We’re an American Band and Locomotion, both selling more than one million each). The group has now accumulated 7 gold and 10 platinum certifications with record sales in excess of 25 million copies sold worldwide. Most recently, We’re An American Band and Some Kind of Wonderful each went platinum in 2022.

The multi-talented band carries on the tradition of Grand Funk hits and creates a new chapter in the legacy of Grand Funk Railroad. Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975.  It was originally a blend of musicians who had enjoyed success in other Australian acts.  Their new focus was to get airplay on American radio, and they achieved that goal with good songwriting, powerful vocals, and guitar harmonies.  They immediately claimed their place as one of the great vocal bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s.

Between 1976 and 1983, chart success in America included the following singles: It’s a Long Way There, Help Is on Its Way, Happy Anniversary, Reminiscing, Lady, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls, Take It Easy On Me, Man On Your Mind, We Two, and The Other Guy.

Worldwide album and CD sales now top 30 million.  LRB also set a Billboard record in 1982 for having Top 10 US hits for 6 consecutive years…the first band ever to achieve that mark.  According to BMI, Reminiscing has garnered rare status with over 5 million airplays on America radio…and Lady is close behind with over 4 million airplays.  LRB was rightfully inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame at the 18th Annual ARIA Music Awards of 2004.  In 2015 the band received the award for Musical Entertainer of the Year from the G2E group…an international panel of judges that ranks casino entertainment.

Current band membership is anchored by bassist and lead singer Wayne Nelson…a 44-year LRB veteran.  He is joined on stage by keyboardist and Dove Award winning producer Chris Marion, drummer Ryan Ricks, and guitarists Colin Whinnery and Bruce Wallace.  These great musicians have writing, touring, and recording credits that include legendary artists like Jim Messina, Kenny Loggins, Glenn Frey, Christopher Cross, Warren Zevon, America, Lonestar, Loretta Lynn, Wynona Judd, Sir George Martin, David Gates, Garth Brooks, Oak Ridge Boys, Steven Curtis Chapman, Randy Houser, Joe Diffie, Kim Carnes, Shane McAnally, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, and Gretchen Wilson.  All five are accomplished singers and deliver the signature LRB lead vocals and harmonies at every show.  This lineup brings fresh energy and arrangements to the classic hits, making new memories for the audience out of each live performance. Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, joined with LRB as a guest artist in 1988 for 2 Australian tours…culminating with a live TV performance at Expo ’88.  He spoke from the heart at that last show when he dubbed Little River Band “the best singing band in the world” in front of 125,000 concert goers.  The current lineup of LRB takes that accolade to heart each and every time they perform.
